Changes to Recycling and Waste Services

This letter serves as official notice regarding recent changes to community services in Falcon Heights. As of Thursday, September 25th, recycling services have been discontinued. Please review the details below:

Recycle Service Discontinued

The final recycle collection took place on Thursday, September 25th.All blue recycle carts were removed following this service.This change was recommended and approved by the Kaufman County MUD #3 Board at their August meeting.

Bulky Waste Service Update

Effective Thursday, October 2nd, bulky waste collection is scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.Service is capped at 2 cubic yards per home, per service interval.

Alternative Recycling Options

The best option available to residents is to utilize the Kaufman County Clean-Up Events.The closest location for Falcon Heights residents is in Forney.Additional information, including dates and guidelines, can be found on the Kaufman County website: https://www.kaufmancounty.net/288/Recycling-Solid-Waste
